BHS taps Matthias Erdmannsdoerfer as managing director of Max-AI
Bulk Handling Systems (BHS), a Eugene, Ore., manufacturer of sorting systems for the recycling industry, has named Matthias Erdmannsdoerfer as the new managing director of Max-AI. The company’s Max-AI technology improves sorting accuracy by using artificial intelligence to mimic a human’s ability to recognize materials. It is used in the company’s robotic sorters, optical sorters and reporting systems.
Erdmannsdoerfer served as president of National Recovery Technologies, a BHS subsidiary, for six years prior to being named to his new position.
