IMS' Dry-21 mold release is compliant with FDA rules

Dry-21 IMS’ Dry-21 Paintable PTFE Powder Mold Release is a low-residue, general-purpose release that is especially applicable for molded parts made of a wide range of resins, including ABS, PP and PE, that will be painted, plated, printed or hot-stamped. It forms a very dry layer on the mold and offers good release with minimal buildup.

What’s new? This formulation, which uses a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) powder that is FDA-compliant for incidental food contact under 21 CFR 177.1550 and 184.100.

Benefits Safe mold release. Dry-21 contains no ozone-depleting substances. It also has very low residue, evaporates extremely quickly and has no reportable volatile organic compounds.
